We're seeking an experienced Toolmaker (experience with molds a plus!) to join our team. Who We're Looking For: The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, the ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings, and be proficient in using a wide range of machine tools and precision measuring instruments. We're seeking someone who takes immense pride in their work and is committed to ensuring the highest quality standards are met on every project.  

This immediate, direct hire opportunity, will start ASAP!!  

salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Construct, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures from blueprints, sketches, and computer-aided design (CAD) files.
• Operate a full range of tool room machinery, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with existing tooling to determine necessary repairs or modifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and dies to ensure their longevity and optimal performance.
• Work with a variety of materials, including different types of steel, aluminum, and other alloys.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve tooling designs and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure all work meets strict quality standards and specifications.
• Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker.
• Strong understanding of machining principles, blueprint reading, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machine tools.
