We're looking for a motivated and experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator with expertise in both TIG and MIG welding. In this hands-on role, you'll work with a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel, to produce custom sheet metal products. You'll interpret complex blueprints, precisely cut and form materials, and execute clean, strong welds. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a problem-solver, and committed to producing superior work.
Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and sketches to plan fabrication projects.
- Perform TIG and MIG welding on various gauges of sheet metal and other materials.
- Cut, form, and shape metal using fabrication equipment such as shears, press brakes, and saws.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and troubleshoot issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator and TIG/MIG welder.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- strong knowledge of welding techniques and best practices.
- Experience operating a range of fabrication tools and machinery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a welding certification is a plus.
