The Dock Associate is responsible for the efficient and safe loading and unloading of freight to ensure timely and error-free deliveries. This role requires a high degree of organization and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding safety protocols and company standards.
This is a full-time position with hours that may include evenings, overnights, and weekends. The role operates in a warehouse environment and requires the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

- Customer and Team Support: Maintain a positive attitude and provide courteous, friendly service to both internal team members and external customers by responding to inquiries and requests in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Freight Handling and Logistics: Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using appropriate equipment. Utilize an RF scanner for package tracking to ensure accurate and on-time delivery. Maintain accuracy when sorting packages according to customer and delivery routes.
- Safety and Operations Management: Safeguard cross-dock operations by following established safety and security procedures. Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal company policies. Keep dock areas clean and free of debris to prevent accidents.
- Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Work with other warehouse team members to optimize freight arrangements and improve best practices.
- Asset and Information Protection: Protect company assets and confidential information, including data related to team members, customers, and vendors, in accordance with company policies.
