Responsibilities
- Lead Daily Operations: Direct the daily activities of your team to hit production targets and meet quality and cost standards.
- Hands-On Support: Operate, set up, and perform maintenance on packaging/production equipment. You will also provide direct relief to your team members for breaks and absences.
- Train & Develop: Act as the designated trainer for your team, on-boarding new staff and providing ongoing training on equipment, processes, and safety protocols. You will also lead daily huddles and meetings.
- Troubleshoot & Improve: Monitor production for issues, identify root causes, and develop solutions. Suggest and implement improvements to boost safety and efficiency.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain accurate production records and ensure all team members follow safe material handling and protective gear guidelines.
- Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience operating advanced packaging equipment/robotics with HMI/PLC interfaces.
- 2+ years of proven experience in a leadership role, including providing direction and training.
- Proficiency with technology, including HMI interfaces, tablets, and software like Microsoft Office and Teams.
- strong mechanical aptitude and a self-directed work ethic.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs continuously.
