salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and schematics to manufacture and machine mold components with tight tolerances using tools like CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines.
• Assemble intricate mold components, ensuring precise alignment of parts, and installing systems like cooling channels and ejection mechanisms.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repair existing molds by cleaning, polishing, and replacing worn or damaged components to restore optimal performance.
• Conduct detailed inspections of finished components and assembled molds using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators to ensure they meet specifications.
• Run test cycles on new or repaired molds to identify and correct issues like part quality problems, flash, or short shots.
• Proficiency with precision machining tools (mills, lathes, grinders, EDM).
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and CAD designs.
