What You Bring:
- 5+ Years of advanced mechanical inspection experience.
- 3+ Years of proven CMM Programming experience (CMM Manager knowledge highly preferred).
- Expert-level knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Mastery of precision measurement tools: calipers, micrometers, height gages, and comparators.
- strong math skills (Geometry/Trigonometry) and ability to read complex blueprints.
- Willingness to mentor junior inspectors and work overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities
- Execute Advanced Inspection: Apply standard surface plate techniques using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages, comparators, etc.) to ensure precise measurements and quality control on incoming, in-process, and final components.
- CMM Operations: Program, set up, and operate CMM equipment, specifically utilizing the Keyence CMM and Profilometer, to perform complex, automated inspections.
- Blueprint Mastery: Proficiently read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings to accurately follow design requirements, technical instructions, and GD&T specifications.
- Team Leadership: Act as a mentor and trainer for lower-level inspectors, sharing your expertise and helping to elevate the team’s overall technical capability.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain and manage inspection data efficiently using Excel and Word documents. Follow operating instructions to keep all measurement equipment calibrated and operational.
