We are looking for a motivated, career-focused, hardworking individual to perform product measurements during production runs to support the setup team. You will use various inspection equipment to verify the products being produced meet the design requirements.The ideal candidate will be someone with experience doing in-process inspection in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, and use various precision measurement gauges.

salary: $42,000 - $53,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Use various inspection equipment including but not limited to micrometers, calipers, comparators and scales.
• Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production and supervisor.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work; inputting data into quality databases
• Interpret blueprints and have a clear understanding of all quality issues pertaining to the work being processed.
• Analyze process control charts and determine when the process must be shut down or interrupted to correct out of control conditions.
