The Hotel Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property. They are expected to provide a welcoming and helpful customer service experience while monitoring the premises and preventing theft, and vandalism.
salary: $20 - $21 per hour

Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patrol the hotel premises, including guest rooms, public areas, and parking lots, to prevent theft and ensure the safety of guests and employee
- Respond to emergency situations, such as accidents, medical emergencies, or fires, and provide first aid as needed
- Investigate suspicious behavior and report any incidents to management or law enforcement
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Collaborate with law enforcement and other emergency responders as needed
- Provide escorts to guests and employees as needed
- Assist with crowd control during events or other high-traffic periods
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Guard Card
- Prior experience in security preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle potentially stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of security systems and protocols
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time
