Responsibilities
- Shipment Coordination: Expertly manage all phases of shipments, including scheduling pickups, managing receipts, preparing essential shipping documents, and overseeing the efficient flow of goods from origin to final destination.
- Customs & Compliance: Collaborate closely with custom logistics brokers to ensure meticulous preparation of customs paperwork and accurate application of Tariff Codes for all imported shipments.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between suppliers, carriers, and internal teams, providing clear, proactive updates and swiftly resolving any issues that may arise in transit.
- Inventory & Tracking Management: Maintain rigorous control over stock levels and utilize logistics systems to ensure precise, real-time tracking of all goods in transit.
- Process Optimization: Continuously seek and implement cost-effective solutions and improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of our logistics processes.
- Issue Resolution: Apply problem-solving skills to quickly address unexpected transportation challenges and maintain the smooth operation of the supply chain.
- Documentation Management: Organize, prepare, and maintain comprehensive shipping and logistics documentation.
