We are currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end assembly of pumps, rotors, and sub-assemblies. What You’ll Do:
- Precision Assembly: Build sub-assemblies and full pump/motor units using clear technical instructions and established quality standards.
- Component Tracking: Accurately record lot codes and production numbers to ensure full traceability of every unit built.
- Technical Tasks: Prep parts, use hand tools (drills, wrenches, hammers), and perform specialized tasks like mixing and pouring epoxy for electronic "potting."
- Shop Stewardship: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while assisting with other shop duties as needed.
- Mechanical Aptitude: You are comfortable using hand tools and have the manual dexterity required for safe, precise assembly.
- Detail-Oriented Mindset: You can follow written and verbal instructions perfectly and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Versatility: You work well independently with limited supervision but can also follow direct guidance when the situation dictates.
- Reliability: You are a dependable professional with a strong work ethic.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience: Previous mechanical assembly experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong mechanical "knack."
- Certifications: Forklift certification is not required, but it is a definite plus!

Responsibilities
1. Responsible for assembly of products from assembly instructions employing high quality practices.
2. Responsible for prepping parts, building sub-assemblies, and building pump/motor assemblies.
3. Responsible for accurately reporting lot codes of components used in assemblies, and recording assemblies built.
4. Mixing and pouring epoxy to pot electronic assemblies as needed.
5. Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates including maintaining the cleanliness of the shop.
