Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Die Cutting Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining die-cutting machinery to convert raw materials (paper, plastic, or corrugated board) into precisely shaped products. The ideal candidate has a "measure twice, cut once" mentality and takes pride in producing high-quality work with minimal waste.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup: Select, install, and align the correct dies and cutting plates for each specific job according to blueprint specifications.
- Production: Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the cutting process to ensure accuracy, speed, and safety.
- Quality Control: Perform regular "first-off" and "last-off" inspections to ensure the finished product meets dimensional requirements and is free of defects.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical issues or alignment errors during the production run to minimize downtime.
- Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of machinery; report any major mechanical needs to the supervisor.
- Safety: Strictly adhere to all warehouse safety protocols, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
