The Day-to-Day: What You’ll Be Doing As a key member of our assembly team, you will report to the Mechanical Assembly Lead and follow established procedures to build high-performance industrial components.
- Precision Assembly: Prep parts and build sub-assemblies for various pump and motor models.
- Technical Tasks: Mix and pour epoxy to "pot" electronic assemblies with accuracy.
- Quality Control: Accurately report lot codes and record completed assemblies to ensure 100% traceability.
- Shop Stewardship: Use hand tools (drills, wrenches, hammers) safely and keep your workspace clean and organized.
- Mechanical Aptitude: You don’t need a degree, but you should be "handy." Experience with mechanical assembly is preferred.
- Manual Dexterity: You are comfortable manipulating small parts and using tools safely for extended periods.
- Follow-Through: You can read assembly instructions and follow verbal directions to the letter.
- Physical Stamina: This is an active role. You must be able to:
- Stand for more than 2 hours per day.
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly (and occasionally up to 85 lbs with assistance/effort).
- Stoop, crouch, kneel, and climb ladders as needed.
- Stand for more than 2 hours per day.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet production deadlines.
- Forklift certification is a major plus (but not required).
