Are you an expert in GD&T, proficient in Excel data reporting, and ready to lead a Quality team? Join our growing, stable water solutions client as a Quality Supervisor in Norcross, GA. This is a newly created, exempt, high-impact role reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Hands-on Inspection (50%): Lead inbound inspections for domestic and overseas vendors, focusing on dimensional accuracy, coating, and packaging using tools like veneer calipers and go/no-go gauges.
- Process Auditing (25%): Conduct outbound inspections and audit internal value-add (light machining/assembly) and pick/pack processes.
- Quality Data Reporting (25%): Serve as the site's go-to expert for quality data, including non-conformance tracking and KPI reports, utilizing Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP in Excel.
- People Leadership: Supervise and mentor a small team of two direct reports.
Expert Technical Acumen: Good to expert-level proficiency in Geometrical Drawings and Tolerancing (GD&T), preferably from a light manufacturing, machine shop, or related industry background (e.g., small parts/automobile machining). Advanced Data & Reporting Skills: Proven experience in quality data extraction and analysis, with expert-level Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP). Proven People Leadership: Prior experience in people management, demonstrating "Servant Leadership" and "Extreme Ownership." Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: Base starts at $90,000, with a cap near $100,000 depending on experience.
- Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (some second shift overlap may be required for visibility).
- Benefits: Start after 30 days, including medical, dental, vision, 401k match, stock options, and annual allowances for steel-toe boots ($100) and an HSA match (first $500).
- Travel: National air travel (10% or less).
