Responsibilities
- Advanced PLC Diagnostics: Perform real-time PLC troubleshooting by interfacing with controllers via laptop to monitor ladder logic, identify code faults, and force I/O to minimize production downtime.
- System Maintenance: Maintain and repair industrial bakery equipment—including ovens, mixers, and high-speed conveyors—utilizing diagnostic software to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 production.
- Preventative Inspections: Conduct routine mechanical and electrical inspections, utilizing Studio 5000 or RSLogix (or your specific software) to pinpoint sensor failures and drive-related issues.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance logs and SAP records, documenting PLC program changes and electrical schematic updates.
- Compliance & Safety: Strictly adhere to GMP, HACCP, and allergen control procedures while maintaining organized, safety-compliant work zones.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production and Quality teams to resolve equipment concerns and implement logic-based continuous improvement projects.
