Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and industrial equipment in a manufacturing facility
- Diagnose issues with PLC-controlled machinery and automated systems
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical components and production lines
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Install, test, and commission electrical systems and equipment upgrades
- Work with motors, drives, sensors, control panels, and power distribution systems
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to improve system performance and reliability
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system changes
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field preferred
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
- Ability to safely work on and troubleshoot systems up to 480V
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, motor controls, and industrial automation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
