We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic who takes pride in their work and understands that precision maintenance is the backbone of a premium product.

Responsibilities
- Equipment Mastery: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain specialized food processing machinery, including grinders, injectors, and high-speed packaging equipment.
- System Maintenance: Manage repairs for conveyor systems, pneumatic components, and hydraulic power units.
- Proactive Upkeep: Perform rigorous preventative maintenance (PM) to ensure zero-down periods during critical production hours.
- Facility Support: Maintain basic plant utilities, including plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration/HVAC systems within a cold-storage environment.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to USDA, OSHA, and SQF food safety standards to maintain our high-quality certifications.
- Experience: 3+ years of industrial maintenance, specifically within the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Technical Proficiency: strong understanding of motor controls, PLC troubleshooting, and mechanical drive systems.
- Welding Skills: Ability to perform sanitary stainless steel welding (TIG/Stick) is a major plus.
- Environment: Comfortable working in a chilled production environment and able to handle the physical demands of a high-output facility.
- Reliability: Must be available for the 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM shift to provide the necessary 2-hour "bridge" of overtime for end-of-day maintenance.
