Job Summary As a Mechanical Inspector, you will perform technical inspections of manufactured and received parts using specialized tools and blueprints. You will collaborate with Machinists and Engineers to ensure all products meet industry standards and internal quality requirements. Responsibilities
- Inspection & Testing: Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using work instructions and purchase orders (POs).
- Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, including First Article Inspection (FAI), first piece, and final inspection records.
- Production Approval: Approve machine set-ups for accuracy, monitor ongoing production performance, and make critical "accept or reject" decisions.
- Non-Conformance Management: Identify and document non-conforming materials, ensuring proper reporting and disposition.
- Quality Maintenance: Maintain accurate quality records and assist in updating standard work instructions.
