Responsibilities
• Prepare and manage shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs paperwork, export documentation and invoices.
• Prepare paperwork and properly label freight prior to shipping
• Coordinate with carriers and suppliers, arranging pickups and tracking shipments to their destination
• Maintain sales records and provide appropriate information for finance.
• Address delays, damage, or shipping errors promptly and effectively, submit & resolve claims with transportation providers.
• Participate in resolution of credit problems and invoice discrepancies. • Ensuring adherence to transportation laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• May be required to cross train and demonstrate competency in all essential job functions of the department working at different workstations as production needs require.
