Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical and/or electronic components, subassemblies, and final products according to work instructions and engineering specifications
- Perform hand soldering of components, including through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) parts, ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Inspect assemblies for accuracy, proper component placement, and overall quality
- Conduct functional, electrical, and visual testing of components and finished products using equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes
- Accurately document test results and report any defects, inconsistencies, or failures
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials (BOMs)
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in assemblies or test failures, using tools such as oscilloscopes and other diagnostic equipment
- Perform rework and repairs on defective components as needed
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
