Role Overview The Expeditor supports the Remote Parts Management (RPM) team by managing material flow and resolving shortages to keep production on schedule. You will act as a key link between suppliers, the warehouse, and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Expediting: Coordinate directly with suppliers to confirm deliveries and resolve shortages.
- Logistics: Pick up/deliver materials and ensure proper routing between departments.
- Systems: Use SAP to track "hot" incoming parts and process material reworks/RMAs.
- Inventory: Monitor movement between warehouses to meet scheduled commitments.
- Experience: 1–2 years in material handling or supply chain.
- Environment: Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or high-tech (Semiconductor preferred).
- Tech Skills: Proficient in MS Office and SAP (or similar ERP).
- Attributes: High energy, "can-do" attitude, and excellent communication skills.

Core Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Liaison: Directly contacts suppliers to confirm deliveries and speed up "hot" shipments.
- Problem Solving: Resolves inventory discrepancies, manages defective part returns (RMAs), and processes rework orders in SAP.
- Logistics Oversight: Tracks materials from arrival to the production floor, ensuring everything is routed correctly and documented accurately.
- Inventory Control: Monitors shortages and maintains system integrity to meet tight manufacturing schedules.
- Technical: Proficiency in SAP or ERP systems and strong inventory data skills.
- Soft Skills: High-level communication for vendor negotiation and proactive problem-solving.
- Physical: Ability to perform hands-on material handling and routing within the facility.
