What You’ll Do
- Testing & Analysis: Perform analytical, microbiological, and organoleptic (taste, smell, and color) tests on raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
- Production Monitoring: Conduct start-up checks on production lines and monitor quality throughout the run, providing data to adjust batches as necessary.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly follow all applicable $GLP$, $GMP$, and $SSOP$ protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Sanitation Verification: Execute ATP environmental testing on food contact equipment and surrounding areas to verify cleaning effectiveness.
- Lab Maintenance: Perform daily equipment calibrations, manage lab supply inventory, and maintain meticulous laboratory records.
- Communication: Actively notify management of food safety risks and collaborate across departments to uphold food safety standards at all times.
- Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of Quality Control experience.
- Industry Background: Prior experience in Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Medical, or Cleaning Product manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic lab equipment (e.g., pH meters, Brix refractometers) and analytical testing methods.
- Shift Flexibility: Open to working 2nd shift hours (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) and arriving early or staying later as production needs dictate.
- Core Traits: Must be exceptionally reliable, quality-minded, and pay close attention to details.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Adherence to strict hygiene and safety protocols, including wearing required PPE.
- Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening is required.
