Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering & Coding: Translate architectural shop drawings and 3D models into efficient CNC programs and tool paths.
- Software Integration: Utilize AutoCAD, iX, and EnRoute (or similar CAM software) to process cabinet and millwork models for CNC routers.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work daily with drafters, and designers, to ensure design accuracy and troubleshoot toolpath issues.
- File Management: Maintain strict alignment between design models and CNC output to ensure flawless production of custom residential installations.
- Industry Expertise: 2–5+ years of CNC programming experience specifically within the millwork or cabinetry industry. (Experience in metal or unrelated sectors will not be considered).
- Software Proficiency: Advanced AutoCAD skills are essential. Experience with iX, EnRoute, Cut Rite, or WoodWOP is highly preferred.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret complex architectural drawings and translate them into machine code.
- Professional Reliability: We are seeking candidates with a history of longevity in previous roles; must be punctual and available for occasional Saturdays.
