Responsibilities
The Role at a Glance
- Hourly Rate: $30 - 35/hr
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- Location: On-site
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair a diverse range of facility assets, including automated packaging systems, dock plates, warehouse racking, and overhead doors.
- Systems Repair: Utilize your expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems to perform precision disassembly and reassembly of equipment.
- Electrical & Fabrication: Read schematics and wiring diagrams to maintain production systems; perform basic welding (MIG/TIG/Arc), plumbing, and carpentry as needed.
- Proactive Maintenance: Drive PM and TPM programs to minimize downtime. Keep meticulous records and manage the maintenance schedule to ensure long-term equipment health.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify root causes of equipment failure and implement "lean" or continuous improvement strategies to boost safety and productivity.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with external contractors and vendors to source parts, schedule specialized repairs, and explore facility upgrades.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. An Associate’s degree or Technical Certificate in Manufacturing Technology is highly preferred.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to interpret engineering blueprints, technical specifications, and electrical schematics.
