We're looking for CDL Shuttle Drivers to join the transportation team of one of the largest healthcare organizations. In this role, you will operate a shuttle bus or passenger coach to safely transport passengers to various destinations while following traffic laws and company policies.

Pay $ 24– 32 /hour (based on the number of years of proven experience as a Shuttle Bus Driver).
Shift Monday – Friday, 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate a shuttle bus or passenger coach to safely transport passengers to various destinations while following traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide safe, courteous, and professional service to passengers.
- Follow established routes and departure times.
- Communicate with dispatch for guidance on any detours or delays.
- Assist passengers with disabilities, as well as others needing help, to board and exit the vehicle via a wheelchair lift.
- Report any emergencies or concerns with the vehicle or passengers immediately to a supervisor or dispatcher.
- Maintain accurate records, including the number of passengers, trips completed, and mileage.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, as well as a current Passenger Endorsement and Air Brakes Endorsement.
- A minimum of 1 year of proven experience as a shuttle bus driver is required.
- Excellent driving skills are required, along with a knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance procedures.
- You must also be willing to get a flu shot unless a medical or religious exemption is provided to Occupational Health for approval.
Physical Requirements
Excellent vision and hearing to operate the vehicle safely and interact with passengers. Frequently standing and walking. Occasionally sitting, lifting, carrying, ushing, pulling objects up to 35lbs with an assisted device, balancing, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and reaching.
Required Licenses and Certifications
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, as well as a current Passenger Endorsement and Air Brakes Endorsement.
- Must obtain a DOT medical card through Company’s Occupational Health
- Successful completion of an internal motor vehicle driving report.
