Responsibilities
- Install and maintain production machines and plant facility equipment.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service.
- Execute machinist tasks and responsibilities.
- Apply basic to advanced mechanical skills, including construction, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, utility, fabrication, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance and service.
- Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Perform advanced maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Utilize various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
- Identify faulty operations, defective materials, and report any unusual situations to supervision.
- Adhere to company and OSHA safety and health regulations, maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
