Key Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Efficiently move goods from delivery vehicles into the warehouse and stack them in designated areas.
- Inventory Management: Locate and move products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-operation inspections and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Experience: Proven experience as a forklift operator or in a similar warehouse role.
- Certification: Valid forklift operator manual/certification (or the ability to obtain one within 30 days).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand/sit for extended periods.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with inventory software or RF scanners is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in stacking and organizing to prevent product damage.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (some roles may involve cold storage or non-climate-controlled environments).
- Flexible availability for shifts (morning, evening, or weekend) as required by the production schedule.
