We’re hiring a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator for our 2nd shift team at a busy fencing company. This role works primarily outdoors, moving and staging materials to support daily operations.
Schedule: 2nd Shift (afternoon/evening hours) Location: Outdoor yard environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to transport fencing materials throughout the yard
- Load and unload trucks accurately and efficiently
- Stage materials for production and delivery
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized yard and work area
- Assist with inventory counts and material tracking
- Work in various weather conditions and support team needs
- Previous forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Attention to safety and detail
- Dependable with good communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active throughout shift
