Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate machines for drilling, grinding, milling etc.
- Understand specifications by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
- Selecting computer commands for machine functions
- Prepare and load raw materials onto the machines
- Set up and run first pieces to make sure the machines produce parts according to specifications
- Monitoring machine functions and making any necessary adjustments
- Inspect and measure finished products to determine if the process has been produced according to specs
