Warehouse Associate (Temp-to-Hire) Location: Pinellas Park, FL Pay Range: $17.00 – $20.00 / hour Schedule: Monday–Friday | Typically 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Must be available for overtime and a variable shift based on daily workload) Role Overview We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Warehouse Associate to join our team in Pinellas Park. This is a highly physical, fast-paced role that requires a mix of material handling, inventory organization, and forklift operation. As a core member of our distribution team, you will ensure that every product—from sheet metal to HVAC supplies—is received accurately and shipped safely to our customers. Key Responsibilities Inbound Logistics: Verify all incoming shipments for accuracy by comparing invoices to orders; ensure all goods arrive in excellent condition. Documentation: Ensure all warehouse paperwork is filled out accurately and processed according to company standards. Order Fulfillment: Properly pull, stage, pack, and load outgoing deliveries and transfers, ensuring no damage occurs during the process. Truck Loading: Load and secure trucks according to DOT and company standards to ensure the safe transportation of goods. Inventory Management: Organize and sort stock on shelving, bins, and overhangs; monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management. Safety & Maintenance: Follow all safety protocols, ensure safe storage in all racking, and maintain a clean, professional warehouse environment. What You’ll Need to Succeed Experience: Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on attention to detail. Equipment: Forklift experience is required (professional certification is preferred). Please note this is a multi-functional role, not a "forklift-only" position. Teamwork: strong interpersonal skills are essential; you must be able to work collaboratively to maintain an organized operation. Problem Solving: Ability to think on your feet, solve problems quickly, and prioritize tasks based on importance. Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand for long periods and work in an environment with extreme temperature changes based on the weather. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 pounds or more consistently. Ability to maintain a high level of physicality for prolonged periods. Primary work is performed while standing, walking, and moving throughout the warehouse.
