The Role You will lead production teams and coordinate cross-departmental activities to meet operational goals and customer expectations. Your focus will be on maintaining technical excellence while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations: Develop production schedules and manage daily activities across the manufacturing floor and shipping to meet targets.
- Leadership: Assign work to production leads and technicians, managing performance to ensure manufacturing orders are executed effectively.
- Efficiency: Review forecasts to support Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing and minimize waste.
- Quality & Safety: Maintain product quality standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Reporting: Create operational and non-compliant reports to resolve issues and minimize delays.
- Documentation: Ensure accuracy of work order travelers and QC checklists.
- Process Improvement: Implement Kaizen principles and 5S methodology to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Procurement, and Warehouse teams for material reconciliation and provide production updates to stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing management role.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assembly, soldering, and machining.
- Safety: Command of electrical safety protocols.
- Systems: Proficiency with MRP systems and IT tools.
- Compliance: Experience with ISO9001 certification and audits.
