What You’ll Be Doing:
- On the Road: Operating a Class A vehicle for [local/regional] deliveries, ensuring safe and timely transport of goods.
- On the Dock: Using a sit-down forklift to load and unload your own trailer with precision.
- Securing Success: Managing load securement (strapping/bracing) and verifying all paperwork (BOLs) for accuracy.
- Equipment Care: Conducting daily pre- and post-trip inspections on both your truck and your forklift.
- The License: Valid CDL Class A with a clean MVR.
- The Skills: Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift in a fast-paced environment.
- The Mindset: A safety-first attitude and the physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks.
- The Reliability: A track record of punctuality and clear communication.

Responsibilities

- Dual-End Loading: Perform full-cycle loading and unloading of trailers using a sit-down forklift, managing weight distribution for safe transit.
- Pre/Post-Trip Inspections: Execute rigorous safety checks on both the tractor-trailer and forklift equipment to minimize downtime.
- Freight Management: Secure all loads (strapping/chaining) and manage shipping documentation (BOLs) with high attention to detail.
- Dock Operations: Assist with staging, palletizing, and inventory movement to maintain a fluid warehouse workflow.
