Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality surface-mount technology (SMT) and thru-hole soldering on complex PCB assemblies.
- Conduct manual rework and repair of electronic assemblies, including component removal and replacement.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and bills of materials (BOM).
- Assemble wire harnesses, crimp connectors, and perform point-to-point wiring.
- Utilize microscopes, magnifying lenses, and specialized soldering equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect your own work and the work of others to ensure compliance with quality standards (such as IPC-A-610).
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety protocols.
