Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance and record keeping for all mandated quality checks, testing and sampling activities
- Inspect packaged and stored fruit to ensure specifications are met
- Report quality results and issues with operations and management
- Testing Brix, Pressures, and Dry Matter
- Work closely with operations and management on corrective action when the product does not meet specifications
- Conduct visual and measurement tests on fruit to ensure they meet the approved requirements; communicating any required changes to the management
- Maintain detailed records of the food production that’s been carried out, as well as relevant additional information, and various metrics such as the number of defective fruit each day.
