Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate industrial cutting equipment (such as panel saws, CNC routers, guillotines, or automated cutters) to cut plastic sheets to exact specifications.
  
  
• Material Handling: Retrieve, load, and handle raw plastic materials (acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC, etc.) carefully to prevent scratching or damage.
  
  
• Blueprint & Order Review: Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and cut lists to plan cuts efficiently and minimize material waste.
  
  
• Quality Control: Perform frequent measurement checks using calipers, tape measures, and micrometers to ensure finished pieces meet strict tolerance guidelines.
  
  
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine preventative maintenance, blade changes, and basic troubleshooting on cutting machinery.
  
  
• Safety & Organization: Adhere to all company safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
