- G-Code Fluency: Proven ability to read and edit G-code at the machine control level (Fanuc or similar controls preferred).
- Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of speeds and feeds for a variety of materials, including aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and plastics.
- Inspection Skills: Highly proficient with manual inspection tools; understanding of AS9100 quality standards is a major plus.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Machine Setup: Independently set up 3, 4, or 5-axis vertical and horizontal CNC milling machines (e.g., Haas, Mazak, Mori Seiki, or Fanuc controls).
- Tooling & Fixturing: Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials on machines; set tool lengths and work coordinates.
- G-Code Editing: Read and interpret G-code/M-code programming languages fluently; perform edits at the controller to optimize tool paths, correct errors, or adjust feed rates and spindle speeds.
- Blueprint & GD&T Interpretation: Work directly from complex engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) specifications to understand part requirements.
- First-Piece Inspection: Check your own setups and execution using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, bore gauges) to ensure parts meet tolerances as tight as $\pm0.0002''$.
