In this role, you will combine your mechanical aptitude with your electrical expertise to keep our automated lines running safely and efficiently. You will self-perform operator-level electrical work and troubleshooting under the oversight of a licensed Master Electrician, in full compliance with Texas state law.
Key Responsibilities
- Line Operation: Run production and sample line equipment according to tight operational specifications and schedules.
- Electrical & Mechanical Care: Perform routine operator-level checks, preventive maintenance, and electrical diagnostics.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve minor mechanical and electrical machine issues proactively to minimize production downtime.
- Quality Control: Execute QA/QC procedures to verify product conformity and maintain consistent quality output.
- Data & Logging: Keep accurate, detailed records of production, maintenance, and operational log data.
- Safety & Shift Work: Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, LOTO procedures, and safety protocols while working assigned shifts (including rotating shifts).
- Licensing: An active Texas Journeyman Electrician License issued by the TDLR is strictly required and must be maintained in good standing.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, or equipment operation is preferred. Experience in stone, engineered quartz, or heavy-materials manufacturing is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma, technical diploma, or GED required.
- Safety & Physical Demands: Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and pass a respiratory FIT test.
- Special Requirement: No facial hair permitted due to strict respiratory PPE and fit-testing requirements.
