Responsibilities
2. Inventory Controller (Data & Accuracy)
This role acts as the bridge between the physical floor and the digital WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Audit Management: Leading Cycle Counts and investigating "ghost inventory" (items showing in the system but missing on the shelf).
- Discrepancy Resolution: Working with the Receiving team to resolve mismatches between Purchase Orders and physical arrivals.
- Slotting Optimization: Determining where items should be stored to maximize picking speed.
- Reporting: Providing the sales or procurement teams with real-time stock levels to prevent "Out of Stock" scenarios.
