Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC mills and lathes safely and efficiently
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and offset adjustments
- Load raw materials and tools into machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges
- Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances
- Edit CNC programs and make program adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues
- Optimize cycle times and improve manufacturing efficiency
- Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality workmanship
- Perform preventative maintenance and maintain clean work areas
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards
