Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on diesel trucks, trailers, forklifts, and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, steering, and electrical systems.
- Conduct inspections and identify mechanical issues before they become major failures.
- Troubleshoot engine performance and electronic diagnostic systems.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Coordinate with operations and maintenance personnel to minimize equipment downtime.
- Order and manage parts inventory as needed.
- Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns when necessary.
