This role requires a constant physical presence on the fulfillment floor to foster a culture of discipline, operational urgency, and continuous improvement. Position Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience within a high-volume warehouse, logistics, or fulfillment center environment.
- Scale: Proven track record of directly or indirectly managing personnel footprints ranging from 50 to 150 hourly employees, including the management of subordinate supervisors.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced competency utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), enterprise operations tooling, and productivity suites (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to interpret raw operational data to build basic cost models, develop labor planning, and drive data-backed forecasting decisions.
- Floor Leadership: Must possess a consistent floor presence, with the physical stamina and preference to spend the vast majority of the workday actively managing on the warehouse floor rather than at a desk.
- Adaptability: Proven resilience in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments where resource constraints require creative problem-solving and rapid prioritization.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; must be adept at delivering transparent, actionable feedback across diverse team demographics.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all core fulfillment center functions, including Outbound (picking, folding, packing, shipping, and exchanges), Returns quality control, New Merchandise receiving/inventory tagging, and Facilities Support.
- Analyze daily, historical, and seasonal performance metrics to identify operational trends, mitigate bottlenecks, and execute rapid adjustments to workflow design.
- Architect, document, and implement repeatable warehouse systems, optimizing product handling, space utilization, equipment maintenance, and overall slotting strategies.
- Anticipate operational risks and establish comprehensive contingency plans regarding capacity constraints, peak season volumes, and tooling limitations.
- Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and performance management to a team of warehouse Supervisors and Team Leads, building a robust pipeline for future internal promotion.
- Enforce company performance standards, proactively addressing behavioral or productivity deficiencies through direct feedback and formal corrective action.
- Collaborate closely with the Human Resources department to engineer accurate labor forecasting and staffing models to meet shifting weekly and monthly volume demands.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and high-morale workplace culture centered on pride, accountability, and collective ownership.
