We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler / Solderer to join our production team in Commack. In this role, you will be responsible for building, assembling, and hand-soldering electronic sub-assemblies, batteries, and chargers with high accuracy. If you have a steady hand, great hand-eye coordination, and a commitment to quality, we want to hear from you.

salary: $18 - $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Solder electronic components, wires, sub-assemblies, and batteries by hand according to technical blueprints, supervisor directions, and standard work instructions.
  
  
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including wire stripping, applying tie wraps, and heat-shrinking sleeves as required.
  
  
• Maintain and properly care for assigned hand tools, soldering irons, and safety equipment.
  
  
• Keep daily production records and consistently meet required output quantities.
  
  
• Inspect work pieces during and after assembly to report product anomalies, defects, or damaged equipment.
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with company safety standards.
