- Take the Reins: Independently set up and operate CNC machinery (Mills, Lathes, and multi-axis equipment) to craft high-quality, close-tolerance components.
- Read the Code: Decode blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications. Step up to the controller to read and edit G-code to optimize production on the fly.
- Own the Quality: Run your own first-piece and in-process inspections using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges) to keep our defect rate at zero.
- Troubleshoot & Maintain: Keep your station humming. You’ll handle routine machine maintenance, spot performance issues early, and collaborate with engineering to make our processes even faster and smarter. What You Bring to the Floor:
- The Experience: 5+ years of proven CNC machining experience. (Technical school or apprentice background is a huge plus).
- The Brainpower: strong blueprint reading skills, an understanding of GD&T, and solid shop math/problem-solving abilities.
- The Grit: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and a steadfast commitment to keeping a clean, 5S-compliant, safe workspace.
