- High school diploma or equivalent is required, completion of trade school is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance and supervision
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and safety procedures is essential
- Maintenance and repairs of conveyors, motor controls, and MHE is highly valued
- Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data, and to develop effective solutions
- Excellent management, leadership, communication, organizational, and administrative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering-related programs is necessary for success
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40 lbs. or more
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities
A Day In The Life
- Lead a team of mechanics, guiding them through the day's tasks.
- Oversee equipment repair and maintenance. You'll assign work orders, making sure safety and production-related tasks come first. Whenever needed, you'll jump in to help with diagnoses and repairs.
- Manage preventive maintenance programs is crucial to minimize downtime. You'll ensure the schedule is followed religiously.
- Create efficient methods and procedures for departmental activities falls under your purview. You'll troubleshoot operational problems and communicate your expertise to keep things running smoothly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the building, grounds, and equipment is essential for smooth operations.
- Supervise the facility's waste disposal program, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with DC leaders is key to meeting maintenance needs; tour facilities regularly to ensure they're well-maintained.
