Airgas Specialty Products (ASP), an Air Liquide company, is looking for a skilled, safety-conscious Field Service Technician I to join our elite field operations team. We are the premier U.S. industrial ammonia supplier, serving critical sectors such as metal treatment, water treatment, chemical processing, and refrigeration. This is not just a driving role; it is a dynamic, hands-on technical position that offers significant earning potential and professional growth.

Responsibilities

As a Field Service Technician, you will act as a critical partner in our operations, traveling within a 350-mile radius to support our customers and plant operations. Your day-to-day will involve:

• Expert Ammonia Handling: Manage the recovery of ammonia liquid and vapor from storage tanks, pipelines, and refrigeration systems with strict adherence to environmental and safety protocols.
  
  
• System Stewardship: Oversee the installation and maintenance of tanks, piping, and pumps to ensure long-term equipment reliability.
  
  
• Technical Consulting: Collaborate with our sales team and customers to provide technical insights and nurture solutions regarding various systems.
  
  
• Inventory & Documentation: Maintain service van inventory and meticulously record activities via work orders and service agreements.
  
  

What We Need from You

• Credentials: Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements (required before hire).
  
  
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of CMV experience within the last 4 years (Graduation from an accredited truck driving school counts as 1 year).
  
  
• Age: Must be at least 25 years old.
  
  
• Safety Record: No preventable accidents or serious violations (speeding 15+, reckless driving) in the last 3 years. No more than 2 minor tickets in the last 3 years. No DUI in the last 7 years.
  
  
• Physicality: Ability to lift 60+ lbs. and handle physical, on-site mechanical tasks.
