Responsibilities
As a minimum, the following is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilities
expected of the Maintenance Technician. These duties are not exhaustive and are subject to
change as the needs of the organization require.
• Testing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machine tools including CNC controls,
PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, hydraulic,
and pneumatic systems.
• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment according to manufacturer’s
specifications.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance according to published schedule to
meet production demand.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears and other parts of machinery.
• Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Perform adjustments, alignments, and calibrations on equipment.
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot and repair factory equipment and CNC equipment.
• Install and upgrade new and current equipment.
The essential functions of this role include:
- wearing steel toe shoes
- manual lifting up to 75lbs
- working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
