What You’ll Do:
- Set Up & Operate: Comfortably handle CNC horizontal and vertical mills, including basic program editing and axis assignments.
- Tooling & Fixturing: Select, load, and change tooling (Drills, Endmills, Reamers) and perform minor adjustments/indexable insert changes.
- Quality Control: Read blueprints, interpret dimensions/tolerances, and use micrometers/calipers for in-process gauging to keep parts flawless.
- Maintenance: Follow ISO procedures and perform minor preventative maintenance.
- Experience: 3+ years of proven proficiency setting up and operating CNC machines (Lathes and VMCs).
- Skills: Blueprint reading skills and precision measurement expertise (micrometers/calipers).
- Mindset: A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities
- Understand and have experience in setting-up and operating CNC horizontal and vertical mills including axis assignment/basic program interpretation and editing.
- Be able to select applicable Fixturing required. Load Fixturing.
- Perform limited in-process inspections with assigned gaging.
- Determine the correct print for each part. Read and understand the dimensions and tolerances stated therein.
- Perform limited in-process inspections with assigned gauging.
- Using the work instruction & print provided adjust the tooling diameters and depths to keep the parts within print.
- Follow all ISO procedures.
- Perform all tooling changes and touch-offs as required - including Drills/Endmills/Reamers.
- Determine the condition of running tools and perform minor qualified tooling changes such as indexable inserts on both CNC lathes and CNC VMCs.
- Perform minor preventative maintenance assignments as required.
- Must have 3 years of experience and be proficient with setting up and operating CNC machines.
- Must have experience and be able to read blue prints and proficient at using micrometers and calipers
