Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
- Ensure products meet defined specifications, standards, and customer requirements
- Perform measurement, testing, and verification using inspection tools and techniques
- Collect, record, and analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Support adherence to food safety and quality systems including HACCP and GMPs
- Assist with documentation, batch records, and quality reporting requirements
- Identify and escalate non-conforming products or process deviations
- Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Work with Quality and Production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
- Conduct visual inspections and support use of inspection and detection systems
- Ensure compliance with ISO-based quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485 where applicable)
- Maintain accurate records for traceability and audit readiness
- Support sanitation and hygiene verification activities as required
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality improvement initiatives
- Assist in product holds, releases, and disposition decisions when needed
