Our Client is looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician I to join our team. If you have a rock-solid work ethic, a reliable attendance record, and a desire to master cutting-edge proprietary machinery, we want to invest in you.
What You'll Do (The Role):
As a Maintenance Technician I and II you will play a crucial role in ensuring our high-tech manufacturing facility runs seamlessly. You will handle everything from routine preventative upkeep to advanced predictive troubleshooting on proprietary production equipment (including Extrusion Blow Molding, Stretch Blow Molding, Injection Molding machines, packaging systems, and automated palletizers).
What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)
- Experience: At least 1–2 years of maintenance experience (Manufacturing environment highly preferred).
- Skills: A basic mechanical understanding, a foundational grasp of hydraulics/pneumatics, and occupational math skills for measurements.
- Salary: $30.00 – $34.00 / hour
Schedule: Set rotating 12-hour shifts (Enjoy predictable scheduling and built-in days off during the week-work up to 16 days per month!)
Location: Iowa City, IA
- Installation & Preventative Maintenance: Set up high-performance equipment and conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks to optimize machinery lifespan and functionality.
- Predictive Maintenance: Utilize modern condition-monitoring and diagnostic tools to identify potential issues before they cause downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Systematically diagnose technical issues, collaborate with technical experts, and execute timely repairs to keep production moving.
- Facility Support: Lend a hand with general facility maintenance to ensure a safe, organized, and world-class working environment.
