Responsibilities
- Receiving & Unloading:
- Unload incoming freight trucks and shipping containers safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
- Inspect all incoming shipments for damage, verify item quantities against bills of lading (BOL) or packing slips, and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Unpack, sort, and properly label items before placing them into designated inventory storage locations.
- Unload incoming freight trucks and shipping containers safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
- Inventory Staging & Production Support:
- Review daily production schedules or pick tickets to identify required materials.
- Accurately pull and transport raw materials, components, or sub-assemblies to designated production lines or packing stations to ensure zero operational downtime.
- Safely stack and organize work-in-progress (WIP) materials in a clean and accessible manner.
- Review daily production schedules or pick tickets to identify required materials.
- Inventory Control & Technology:
- Utilize RF handheld scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, log stock locations, and update system counts in real time.
- Assist in routine inventory audits, cycle counts, and shelf replenishment tasks to maintain high inventory accuracy.

- Shipping & Loading:
- Safely wrap, band, and palletize finished goods to prepare them for secure transport.
- Load outbound trailers efficiently, ensuring weight is properly distributed and loads are secure to prevent shifting during transit.
