Responsibilities
️ Core Responsibilities (By Tier)
Hydro structures its automation team into distinct levels, allowing both entry-level applicants and seasoned experts to find a fit:
- PLC Tech I (Entry Level): Assisting with the wiring and installation of PLC hardware/HMI setups, performing basic diagnostics under supervision, reading electrical schematics, and supporting senior technicians.
- PLC Tech II (Intermediate): Programming and modifying PLC logic (primarily Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation environments), integrating PLCs with HMIs, sensors, and actuators, and troubleshooting standalone systems.
- PLC Tech III (Senior/Lead): Designing advanced automation solutions, leading major troubleshooting efforts for complex system faults, architecting motion control/industrial network configurations, and mentoring junior team members.
